In keeping with our mission of exploring the season’s theme in a collaborative setting to present our unique perspective, St. Louis Actors’ Studio concludes its Power and Politics second season with its original production. “Outside the Lines,” written by local playwright Gerry Mandel, is a one-act play about a Bosnian woman in a Midwestern city who comes into conflict with the powers at City Hall over her daycare center. Presented initially as a rough draft, Mandel worked with the ensemble of actors and director once a week to develop this completed piece.
